Description
At that unexpected hour, between sleep and wakefulness, the participants arrive for their first rendezvous. The inaugural intervention is the enactment of the logic behind the artistic experimentation device. The body of the performer that carries the guideline is written. Locks of hair with their poetic mathema are cut. Converted into offerings, they are handed in a box to each artist, while an unintelligible phrase, but not any phrase, is whispered in their ears.
A poetic mathema for the artistic cause is a unique formula to fictionalize the pathway of an analysis, stripped of its narrative, reduced to a poetic phrase. An attempt to convey the logic of the subverted device. This time, not the word but the written cipher and the verb are an attempt at poetry to cause desire in others. The way of introducing a real to pierce the experience, freeing it from the necessary, making room for contingency, the birth of a new signifier detached from meaning. Bodies that speak through what is written through action in the language of performance. Marked by their absolute difference, they make use of a divine detail for their creative act.

Director Biography - Gabriela Laura Nafissi
Licenciada in Psychology. Associated EOL Mendoza Delegation. She successfully completed the Specialization in Production of Critical Texts and Media Dissemination of the Arts (UNA); Diploma in Creative Writing at Untreff and The New York Film Academy´s 1 Week Filmmaking at New York. She is currently studying scriptwriting for movies and series at Script Lab. She is the creator of “Reincarnations. Artistic Experimentation”, an arts project launched, and of Plus+Art, a multi-arts event, recipient of the Art and Culture Gold Award “Best of Mendoza’s Wine Tourism”. She was one of the organizers of Week of Rock, which earned Best of Global Award in the category Innovative Wine Tourism Experiences and Co-creator of Experiences in accessible wine tourism in LSA in virtual environments (Gold Award. Best of Mendoza's Wine Tourism Innovative Experiences). Director of Art & Culture at Monteviejo Winery ( 2015 - 2023). She has developed and manages cultural projects based on artistic experimentation devices that articulate art fields and languages, whereby she explores and develops her interest in the areas of convergence of the arts and psychoanalysis. She is author of Reincarnations. Audiovisual short stories. Her script Pampero has been awarded (Best Short Film Script at the Greece Film Festival Awards, 2023; Best Unproduced Screenplay at WICA in Edinburgh; Best Non-Produced Short Film Script at the Madrid International Film Festival, 2022). She directed and scripted La piedra en el camino ( Best Production at the Close Film Festival in Tabriz; Main Category at Venus Community Awards in Istanbul; Best Documentary - Best production at International Tabriz Cinema Awards, 2023; Best Female Directors at Tokyo International Short Film Festival; Best Documentary Short at the Rome Short Film Festival (Jury Special Selection) at 2022; Best Documentary: Black Swan International Film Festival in India; Honorable Mention Liff in London, Best International Documentary at Hollywood International Golden Age Festival (New York); Filmfest International Film Festival, India; Best International Documentary at Vancouver Independent Film Festival). She was the director and screenwriter of “Elephant Escabeaux” (winner of the Best Experimental Movie in International Cinema in Venezia and Best Female Direction, Best Animation Feature Film at Arte Non Stop Film Festival. She was director and screenwriter for Signs of an Artist (Gold Prize, Best Experimental Short Film, International Film Festival for Women, Social Issues and Zero Discrimination in Indonesia.
